Hanover Associates is providing consultancy to a large organisation in the preparation and delivery of Incident Management and Business Continuity training to maintain compliance with BS 25999.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning are now accepted as basics requirement for every business and organization. It is widely accepted that a detailed Business Continuity plan should not only exist, but should be up to date. It should reflect the actual on-going needs of the business activity or function.

 

Business Continuity planning and Disaster Recovery planning are fundamental to the well being of an organisation. Clearly, they are intended to ensure continuity in the face of unforeseen or difficult circumstances.

 

Training for these situations is not always straight forward. The requisite planning tasks themselves can also be challenging.... none more so than the building the plan itself.

 

With Hanover Associates’ multi-agency background, we have been able to develop realistic and meaningful training packages to develop and test the constituent parts of the Incident Management system, from the initial response through to the Strategic Management Board. Training packages are also being developed for Business Continuity (BC) section coordinators and scenario based exercises will test the BC Plan as a whole.
