Malaysian Ministry of Defence

In 2009, as part of a project for the Malaysian Ministry of Defence, Hanover Associates delivered a Command and Control training package to the Malaysian Air Force.

The presentation covered the Command structure and roles and responsibilities at each level. This included the make up of the command groups and how the interaction between agencies and the management of information would take place.

As part of the course Hanover also delivered a presentation on basic siege management in an aviation environment. The presentation covered, from a multi-agency perspective, the deployments and integration of all potential responders to such an incident. It included input on communication links and how intelligence was gathered, assessed and distributed between the appropriate agencies. The issues surrounding the management of released hostages within a siege environment was also discussed.

The audience for the course included all ranks from Corporal to Major.

Hanover Associates have also designed a Command and Control course and an aviation siege management course and seminar to be delivered, in country, to a wider multi-agency audience.
